The Furtherfield organisation have agreed to bring back their recent successful video instillation for one final encore to coincide with the WGISFF – so this really is your last chance to catch this unique visual experience. It explores collaboration between two artists across geographical distance through the ineffable language of image. And
Michael Szpakowski will be there in person to talk about his work on Sunday 22nd from 2.30pm.
Furtherfield.org is an artist-run organisation that provides platforms for creating viewing, discussing and learning about experimental practices in art and technology. They provide a public venue for exhibitions, events, residencies and workshops at HTTP Gallery near Green Lanes, Harringay.
They run websites and blogs that host reviews of new work, as well as interviews and exchange between emerging and established artists, technologists and those interested in social change. Furtherfield.org’s Learning and Participation programme supports collaboration and exchange, the development of individual voices and shared visions in the context of distinct but connected cultures.
Furtherfield.org believes that through creative and critical engagement with practices in art and technology people are inspired and enabled to become active co-creators of their cultures and societies.
