2009 Festival Highlights
In 2009 the festival expanded to a seven day event including over 60 short films and more fringe events and workshops than ever before.
We experienced record attendances and screened some incredible films, with many going on to win acclaim at festivals araound the globe. Highlights included the BAFTA winner 'September' from Esther May Campbell, the OSCAR nominated 'Schizein' from French filmmaker Jeremy Clapin, - and 'Love You More', made by Sam Taylor Wood who has now gone on to direct her first full length feature - the acclaimed 'Nowhere Boy'.
The Fast Foward group triumphed with a full day of events at the Youth Film Day - including a Q& A with 'Hush' director Mark Tonderai and appearances from cast members of 'Adulthood'.
In total, we had over 1000 people attending throughout the week.
